Digitax M1 mdt is an ALL IN ONE powerful, compact and automotive compliant Mobile Data Terminal specifically designed and developed to match fleet mangement and job dispatching requirements. Developed on Windows CE Operating System and equipped with a GPRS modem and a GPS U-Blox 6 receiver with 50 channels, it implements a stable and reliable communication with the operating central and a very precise positioning of the vehicle.
M1 mdt replacing the standard rearview mirror allows to have an embedded MDT instead of an additional device to be installed somewhere in the dashboard of the vehicle.
In addition M1 mdt is compliant with the European positioning system GALILEO and is equipped with a hardware MUX Port to send AT commands to the GPRS modem to get connection status, diagnostics, tracking data.
With M1 mdt it is possible to develop customised user interfaces and, for the user, proprietary applications by the use of Digitax Framework in combination with Windows CE OS and Framework. 
The double boot feature, to restore and update at anytime the CPU firmware, the OS and the user applications, is also available with X-one Plus.
The Device can withstand glitches at car start, or power losses thanks to the external UPS Battery that is automatically recharged. The AITP processor allows OS and user applications  to be closed safely in case of sudden power lack.
